Essential information for the Specifier:                     Dimensional Data (mm)

(mm) (kg) (m3) (m3)
200 0.0765 0.120
250 0.0927 0.145
300 0.107 0.167
400 0.135 0.211

Depth Weight Void Volume

Void Volume
per m of floor
(mm) (kg) (m3) (m3)
225 0.116 0.143
325 0.158 0.195
425 0.199 0.240

The volume of concrete used per m2 of floor is calculated as follows:

For this example assume: that the floor has ribs at 900mm centres
that the mould is 225mm deep
there is 100mm of topping
i.e. total depth = 325mm
Total volume per m2 of floor = 1.0 x 1.0 x 0.325 = 0.325 m3
Void volume per m2 of floor (table opposite) = 0.143 m3
So, volume of concrete per m2 is 0.325 - 0.143 = 0.182 m3
